FAQ

Please Note – Although we do cater for some dietary requirements, we cannot cater, nor accept responsibilities for Nut Allergies.

DESIGN – Please feel free to send through and images or inspirations of what you would like me to create for you. The more information you can send our way the better we can create what you envision, however please remember, each cake or dessert is custom made for your special occasion based on special requirements and though I can use these images as a guide I cannot copy some one else’s creation.
If you are not too sure what you are after that’s not a problem either. We have years of experience and are here to help you.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS – We understand not everyone is alike and therefore we can off some of our desserts in a Gluten Free, Egg Free and Lactose free options, however due to the nature of some items, there may be some limitations to designs.

COSTINGS – As each cake or sweet is custom made to your requirements so is the price. Our sweet treats are not only butter, eggs and flour but also hours and hours of work to make sure your dessert is as amazing as you desire. We also use high quality ingredients throughout all our desserts and do not reduce this for any reason.

DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS – Once we have come together to create your design or sweet a $100 non refundable deposit will be required to secure your date for your event. Final payments will be required closer to your occasion.
If you are booking a last minute order (within 2 weeks or less of event) payments in full will be required upon confirmation of booking.

TIMELY NOTICE – We advise that desserts/cakes are booked 4-6 weeks in advance and wedding cakes with a min of 3months notice before your special day. As we do not hold dates we can only guarantee your order once we have received your deposit so the earlier the better to avoid disappointment.

TRANSPORTING/DELIVERY – We are able deliver to most Melbourne Metro areas if required. Cost for this is dependent on location and set up time if required.

CAKE CARE – if your cake is covered in fondant icing then best care is to keep it out of a fridge and in a cool dry area out of direct sunlight.
If your cake is covered in buttercream then it can be left out in a cool dry area at room temperature however if it is warm (anything above 20°C then you may need to place in fridge if you will not be displaying the cake straight away.
Care instructions can be supplied for other sweet treats if required.

CANCELLATIONS – life is unpredictable, if you need to cancel your order before your event please let us know as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable and final payments need to be made 2 weeks prior to your event. If you need to cancel your order within the 2 weeks prior to your event a percentage of the payment may be able to be refunded dependant on order but not guaranteed.

PAYMENT T&C’s – The final balance of your order is due 2 weeks prior to your event. If we have not received your payment Cake Worx by Anna reserves the right to cancel your order.

A non-refundable deposit is required within 2 weeks of confirming your order. If we do not receive this payment we cannot hold your date for you.

Any changes to your design cannot be made with less than 2 weeks prior to your event

Cake Worx by Anna cannot be held responsible for any damages which may occur once a cake has been picked up if you have opted to not have it delivered. Like-wise, we cannot be held accountable for any damages once we have safely delivered and set up at your chosen venue.
